Hi! I'm Melissa, and I love making music fun for kids.
I'm a composer and music teacher based in London, and I've spent over a decade creating music and sound design for movies, TV shows, and games in Hollywood. I studied at Berklee College of Music and now, when I'm not working in my studio or teaching university lessons, I love sharing the joy of music with young learners.
Whether your child is just starting on their musical path or curious about writing their own music, I make each lesson creative, playful, and tailored to what they love. We might turn a favorite pop song into a piano piece, explore how movie soundtracks are made, or compose something brand new, using a personalised and creative approach.

Music theory doesn't have to be boring - really!
In my music theory lessons for kids, we turn the “rules” of music into a creative playground. Whether your child is just starting out or already playing an instrument, we’ll use games, listening, and real examples, like decoding the secret language behind their favorite songs, to help them understand how music works.
It's all about building confidence, curiosity, and a strong musical foundation!

With a background in classical piano and a passion for creative teaching, I help young learners build solid technique while keeping things playful and engaging. We’ll learn to read music, explore different styles, and even sneak in a little composing and improvising along the way; all at a pace that’s right for your child.
